This memorial section of the Roy Miller High School Fabulous 60’s Hall of Fame is dedicated to the memory of our Buccaneers who gave their lives in service to the United States of America.
Memorial Day, observed each year on the last Monday of May, reminds us of the sacrifice made by members of the Armed Forces who never returned home — those lost in war, during military operations, training, or faithful service to our nation.
Across America, citizens pause to visit cemeteries, attend memorial ceremonies, place flags at gravesites, and reflect upon the cost of freedom. Though Memorial Day became an official national holiday in 1971, the spirit of remembrance behind it has lived in the hearts of Americans for generations.
Here in the Roy Miller High School Fabulous 60’s Hall of Fame, we remember our classmates and fellow Buccaneers who served with honor and made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War and other periods of military service.
Their names remain part of our history.
Their sacrifice remains part of our freedom.
And their memory shall always remain part of us.
⚓ “All gave some — some gave all.”
