THE BUCCANEER

 Every month The Buccaneer is published for the benefit of Roy Miller students. The hard-working staff, composed usually from 10 to 13 members, may be found during sixth period every day in room 230. Their many duties include covering their beats, writing feature stories, selling ads, interviewing teachers and students alike, and proofreading the monthly paper before it is published. Edited by Marjorie Moore and sponsored by Miss Ann Shanks, the staff has two beats to cover each month plus extra assignments. Besides publishing The Buccaneer, the staff also is learning to be better journalists by writing practice stories.
