⚓ HALL OF FAME FOUNDER ⚓

Carlos L. Arriola is a proud graduate of Roy Miller High School, Class of 1964. He is a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat “V.” He received a Bachelor's of Environmental Design in 1973 and Master's of Architecture degree in 1974 from Texas A&M University, where he was a Roll of Honor student and inducted into member of Tau Sigma Delta, the national honor society in Architecture and Allied Arts. Carlos attended Del Mar Technical Institute where he earned a Certificate of Achievenment. He is an Architect Emeritus, and founder/curator of the Roy Miller Fabulous 60’s Hall of Fame.

In addition to the Hall of Fame, Carlos founded and manages the Roy Miller High School Fabulous 60’s Association Facebook Group and the Roy Miller High School 1960–1969 Alumni Group. These communities bring together classmates to share photographs, stories, and memories from their days at Roy Miller and beyond.

Through initiatives such as the Buc Gem Awards and the Hall of Fame, the community recognizes and celebrates the lives and contributions of Roy Miller graduates. This Hall of Fame stands as a living archive dedicated to preserving the history, friendships, and enduring Buccaneer spirit of the Fabulous 60’s generation.

And as Richard Quijas "Mr Buccaneer" would say —

the Alma Mater moves fast… so hold tight, Mates!

⚓ WELCOME TO THE ROY MILLER FABULOUS 60’s HALL OF FAME ⚓

The Roy Miller Fabulous 60’s Hall of Fame was created to preserve and honor the legacy of the students, faculty, and community that defined Roy Miller High School during the 1960–1969 era in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This Hall of Fame serves as a permanent digital archive dedicated to recognizing achievement, service, and the enduring spirit of the Buccaneers. It was established to ensure that the stories, contributions, and memories of this remarkable generation are not lost to time.

Unlike traditional recognition programs limited by space or location, this Hall of Fame provides a living record — one that continues to grow as new information, photographs, and histories are discovered and preserved.

Inductees are selected based on merit, contribution, service, and historical significance. In addition to individual recognition, the Hall also honors teams, organizations, educators, and those who served our country.

This effort is part of a broader commitment by the Roy Miller Fabulous 60’s community to preserve the history of our school and share it with future generations.

And as Mister Buccaneer would say —
the Alma Mater moves fast… so hold tight, Mate! ⚓
