HALL OF BUCCANEER ATHLETICS

The Roy Miller High School Fab 60’s proudly announces the establishment of the Hall of Buccaneer Athletics

(Athletics Hall was Inspired by Larry McLaughlin #53, 1961')

Created to recognize outstanding athletes of the 1960–1969 era, this Hall honors those whose performance, dedication, and competitive spirit helped define Buccaneer athletics.

This Hall stands alongside the Fab 60’s Hall of Fame, with a focused mission — to preserve and celebrate excellence in athletic achievement and contribution.

⚓ FOUNDING ATHLETIC HONOREES

Several athletes were previously recognized within the Fab 60’s Hall of Fame prior to the establishment of this Hall.

These individuals are hereby acknowledged as Founding Athletic Honorees of the Hall of Buccaneer Athletics, and their athletic legacy is now preserved within this Hall as part of its historical foundation.

This includes:

Johnny Roland • Kirby Sams  Willie Adams • Clifford "Buddy" (C.E.) Neubauer  •   Manuel Ortega • Hal Carew • Keno Aleman • Cleveland Townsend • Abner Spears

πŸ‘‰ Their original Hall of Fame recognition remains honored and unchanged.
πŸ‘‰ Their athletic achievements are now formally carried forward into this Hall.

⚓ FUTURE INDUCTIONS

All future athletic recognitions will be formally inducted into the Hall of Buccaneer Athletics, where their accomplishments on the field, court, and track will be preserved and honored.

Induction into this Hall does not limit or replace eligibility for the Fab 60’s Hall of Fame. Each recognition stands on its own merit and purpose.

These athletes did more than compete —
they carried the pride, spirit, and name of the Buccaneers for all to remember.
