Accomplishments at Roy Miller - Basketball 1964 and 1965, Center 2L's; Band 1963 to 1965; Slide Rule Club 1964
After graduation from Roy Miller, Rob or The Captain as he is known enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania in 1965 from 1965 and graduated in 1967. Charles began his self-employment journey with Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. But opted to join the US Army and after military school he assumed the position of Field Officer (FO) - K Troop & M - Company; Executive Officer (XO) HOW Battery 3/11 ACR in Vietnam 1968-1969. He serve in the Army from February 13, 1967 until October 10, 1975.
Charles then started working as a
Field Life/Health Underwriter at Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada from
September 30, 1975 until April 30, 1982 in Pittsburgh, PA - Metropolitan Area.
In April of 1982 he became a Life/health Insurance agent and Broker for American
Travelers Insurance Co in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Charles married Lolita
Featherstone Robinson on September 14, 2019. They both have grown children, Rob
has a daughter - Kickitwith Kristal; and three sons – Charles Robinson, Jr, and
Christoffer Robinson with deceased wife Georgalele who passed away in 2010.
Lolita has two daughters - Dawndra Allen, LaRee Featherstone. The Captain is a
Life Member of VFW Post 4040 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
